Come get involved in AWANA, one of the fastest growing children's organizations in the world! Meetings are held Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 between the months of August and April. We have programs for ages 3 years through 6th grade with a special program for Jr. High and High schoolers. For more information about the AWANA international visit www.awana.org.

Promoting the county and the local economy, the Chamber of Commerce meets monthly and is an excellent way to network with your fellow business people.

Tobacco Prevention Coalition for Calaveras County Accepting new members to participate on developing coalition. Focus of Coalition is support for local efforts to limit youth access to tobacco products and exposure to tobacco industry advertising influence. Jenny Lind 4-H generally meets on the 4th Thursday of the month (unless it is school vacation- then we try to meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month) at Jenny Lind Elementary School's multipurpose room from 7 to 8pm.

Class Schedule : Mondays & Wednesdays kids : 6:30pm-7:30pm Adults : 7:30pm-9:00pm

The Valley Springs Chamber of Commerce endeavors to link its members together to form a golden chain as a symbol of working together so that patrons can obtain a chest full of treasures.

After school youth program for ages 11 -17, Monday thru Friday from 1 - 6 p.m. Help with homework, healthy snacks, leadership development and fun recreational activities for area youth. Board of Directors meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m at the Youth Center - 201 Pine Street in Valley Springs.
