POPPY COUNTRY?
Full Description:
The Calaveras County Garden Club is starting an effort that would make the county known for poppies. They are looking to beautify Highway 49 with the planting of California Poppies making Mokelumne River and New Melones Reservoir as their starting and end points.
The club dubs its project the Highway 49 Flowering Gold beautification project.
