The Mother Lode Council of the Knights of Columbus and BloodSource of Sacramento are hosting another Blood Drive. BloodSource of Sacramento provides blood products to our local Mark Twain Saint Josephs Hospital. DATE : Tuesday January 31st TIME: 3 PM to 7 PM LOCATION :Valley Springs Sport and Fitness Center, 145 Mangili Rd., Valley Springs. Did you know that 6o percent of the population is eligible to give blood BUT only 6 percent do donate. That 6 percent provide 100% of the available blood supply. Think about that statistic, our community can do better than that. If you have ever donated before, please start donating again. If you have never donated before please consider doing so. Encourage your family, children, social group, team or club to donate. (Youths 16 years old will need parental authorization). Please save this date. Call the following number for eligibility questions 800-995-4420 and press the 1 on your phone. On the day of donation please drink plenty of fluid and eat regular meals. The next blood drive will occur in eight weeks on Tuesday March 28th 2006.
