Crazy Creek Falls
Whether you have time for just a quick rest stop or a multi-day visit, Crazy Creek Waterfalls is definitely a sight to see. Take the boardwalks or trails from the Hwy 1 parking lot up to the High Mountain Patio. Hear the roar and feel the mist of the falls up close. Trek across the suspension bridge and experience the marvellous view from right above the falls. Crazy Creek Waterfalls is open daily from 9am-7pm. Admission fees for the use of the Suspension Bridge and Boardwalk are $9.52/adult and $5.66/child. Admission is free on Sundays.
Beardale Miniatureland
Step into a realm of miniatures! At Beardale Miniature land there are hundreds of tiny handcrafted buildings and displays that will wow both the young and young at heart. Watch as cable cars, electric trains and a variety of your favourite bedtime fairytales come alive with just the press of a button. Beardale is open daily from 9am to dusk, May through September.
The Enchanted Forest
Situated between Revelstoke and Sicamous, B.C on the Trans Canada Hwy, the Enchanted Forest is a must-see family attraction. Set up in the midst of beautiful old growth forests of Canada’s Monashaee Mountains, the forest includes over 350 handcrafted figurines and an assortment of activities everyone in your party will enjoy. Journey up to B.C’s tallest tree house, take a stroll on a wetland boardwalk or paddle about in beaver ponds. The Enchanted Forest is open daily from May until Canadian Thanksgiving. Admission fees are $9.00 per adult and $8.00 per youth/student and child. Make sure to inquire about group rates!
Sky Trek at the Enchanted Forest
Explore the heights of the Enchanted Forest and visit Sky Trek Adventure Park, an all-ages playground. Whiz across suspension bridges, soar along zip lines and tackle 3 ropes courses! But don’t forget to stop and admire the view of the forest from above. Sky Trek includes three different courses alternating in height, length and difficulty. Hours of operations are the same as the Enchanted Forest: open mid-May to Canadian Thanksgiving, 7 days a week.
D Dutchmen Dairy
Take a trip both you and the kids will adore. D Dutchmen offers a variety of delicious handmade products as well as a petting zoo full of exotic animals. This is definitely a unique experience. Taste delectable artisan cheeses or ice cream before heading to see llamas, a camel, donkey and a variety of exotic birds. Summer hours at the Dairy are 9 am to 9 pm daily. Winter Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm.
