The Youthful Essence® is advertised as a sort of "solution" to the "problem" of aging, whatever that might be. According to product promotion, consumers can expect a more youthful appearance, healthier skin, and overall rejuvenation just by using the Youthful Essence® system.
The system consists of facial washes, moisturizers, toners, smoothers, masks, and day/night treatments plus sensitive-skin options and body-part-specific versions of some of these. Along with a Resurfacing Tool, these products are supposed to form a "fountain of youth" from which consumers can draw all the resources necessary to not look their age.
The website recommends the use of a variety of the company’s products, spread out over a week and all over the body, in order to promote exfoliation, replenishment, and moisturizing for all types of skin problems.

Youthful Essence® provides a wide variety of products – too many to discuss here. We will focus on the Vitamin-Enriched Resurfacing Cream, as it appears to be the centerpiece of the anti-aging line.
Ingredients in Focus
This Resurfacing Cream employs Aluminum Oxide Crystals as the chief exfoliator in the formula. Typically associated with more industrial feats, Youthful Essence® has harnessed the scrubbing and polishing power of Aluminum Oxide and applied it to your body.
It makes sense then that the skin would need some moisture. Enter Safflower Oil, Propylene Glycol, and Panthenol.
And furthermore, Youthful Essence® uses Wheat Germ Oil and Retinyl Palmitate to supplement with vitamins E and A.
Carrot Root Extract and Wheat Bran are also included for their ability to protect the skin from free radicals and UV damage.
And Beta-Carotene is used to enhance the skin’s suppleness while reducing its flakiness.
Positives
- Decently priced.
- Application tool is a nice addition.
Negatives
- Formulas are not overwhelmingly convincing.
- Marketing is a bit ageist, to be honest.
- Website was not immediately forthcoming with ingredients information.
Final Thoughts
Youthful Essence® could be worse, but it could be a whole lot better. Consumers are faced with a rather dismal array of similar choices at drug stores and on commercials day in and day out. We would recommend shopping for a product that contains Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline or Matrixyl 3000, as these have been proven effective and affordable. Youthful Essence® is affordable, but it might be just another ad campaign designed for profit rather than consumer benefit.
