Valley Springs

Okay, we know there's a place in sunny California called Valley Springs but this site is not about that. We created our own place which we call Valley Springs -in miniature.

We love collectibles and figurines and when we first started collecting we realised we had been collecting houses and animals and various buildings, and we arranged them to create a town we called Valley Springs.

Perfect Valley Springs

It’s a perfect town, of course, with all our favorite models and figurines. As our collection grew, we cleared out the spare room and built our Valley in it.

Now when we buy a new collectible it always goes into Valley Springs. Sometimes we rearrange pieces and have to move items out of the valley to make way for the new ones. But then we will get out all our older pieces and repopulate the Valley with them. It’s great fun!

Everything’s Collectible!

We don’t just collect houses and figurines. We’re interested in all kinds of collectibles and have everything from plates and salt & pepper shakers to watches and jewellery.

Budget

Of course, it is very easy to get carried away and early on we decided we had to set a budget for our hobby and stick to it. However, ever so-often if we have a little spare cash we put that in our collectible box and buy something really special with it.

Mint Condition

Collecting does not have to be an expensive hobby and you will find hundreds of wonderful items at very reasonable prices, especially second-hand. However, when buying second-hand, do be absolutely sure to check and double-check the condition of the item.

Unless it’s very rare or particularly old, we always insist that an item is in mint condition.
